Our school puting on a performing arts celebration. Room 6 is dancing to a David Bowie song: 'Dancing In The Street'. There are different costumes: Mexicans wearing sombreros and ponchos, Masai Warriors with big sticks, Cowboys wearing denim jeans, checked shirts, cowboy hats and boots, Japanese dancers in kimonos and sashes, and Indians wearing sari's.
In our dance we are all on the stage and one group dances at the front. It has been quite hard to learn the steps and I have enjoyed it. You have to put a lot of energy into the dance. I'm looking forward to performing in front of the audience but I am also scared because there will be a lot of people.
