First we painted pictures with hot and cold colours and let them dry. Next we painted over some strips and did a pattern in the paint with the end of our paint brush.
The next week we started to cut the strips up and glue them on a piece of paper; with thin felt pens we drew little designs with hot and cold colours.
The final step was to cut pieces of paper into circles and stalks and glue these on with PVA glue, before Ms Washington shrunk them down and cut them to size.
Warm colours are red, orange, pink and yellow. Cold colours are green, blue, light purple and turquoise.
