Science activities - travelling dye (capillary action)

We watched dye travel up a paper towel and into another cup. We saw two colours mixing. Here you can see yellow and blue making green. The dye travelled quite quickly. We wondered what we would see after the weekend. Jaimee thought the colours might travel back the other way and change the original colours.
