Making bubble wands with straws and pipe cleaners
We made cube bubble wands with straws and pipe cleaners. We cut 12 straws to 12 cm lengths, then put 2 on each pipe cleaner, leaving bits poking out the ends. We joined 6 L shapes together to make a cube. It was hard Twisting the ends at the joins. Next we dipped the whole cube into a bucket of bubble mixture, and slowly pulled it out. There were some interesting shapes inside. We experimented with blowing into the cube to make a larger cube. We wonder what a pyramid shaped wand would make? Ms Washington Room 6
