Learning to play Hopscotch at school

We read about the history of Hopscotch and found out that the Romans used to play it to get fit. We learned the rules and had a go outside on the concrete. It was lots of fun but we discovered that it was harder than it looked. The main rule is that you can't step on the lines. Soon we hope to play the Indian version of Hopscotch called Chilli, where you have to kick the scotch instead of throwing it.
